Undergraduate Courses
For Part–I (Sem-I)
A Candidate should have passed at least +2 examination of any education Board, or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to.
OR
Pre-Engineering/ Pre-Medical Examination of this university or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto or Intermediate examination of Punjabi University or any other statutory University/ Board.
For Part–II(Sem-III)
For Part–III(Sem-V)
A Candidate placed under ‘reappear’in any paper will be allowed two chances to clear the reappear, which should be availed with in consecutive two years/ chances that is to pass in a paper the candidate will have total of three chances, one as regular student and two as reappear candidate.
Subjects offered
Besides English (Communication Skill) and Punjabi Compulsory, a student can take the combination of required three elective subjects, taking up one subject from a group out of following groups of elective subjects:
- Economics/ Sociology
- Political Science
- History/ Maths
- Punjabi/ English/ Hindi Elective
- Religion/ Home Science/ Physical Education
- Computer Application/ Gurmat Sangeet
For Part–I (Sem-I)

For Part–II(Sem-III)
A Candidate has passed 50% of total papers of two semesters of the Ist year examination of this university or any other statutory University.
OR
A Candidate placed under ‘reappear’in any paper will be allowed two chances to clear the reappear, which should be availed with in consecutive two years/ chances that is to pass in a paper the candidate will have total of three chances, one as regular student and two as reappear candidate.
For Part–III(Sem-V)
A Candidate has passed 50% of total papers of two semesters of the IInd year examination of this university or any other statutory University.
OR
A Candidate placed under ‘reappear’in any paper will be allowed two chances to clear the reappear, which should be availed with in consecutive two years/ chances that is to pass in a paper the candidate will have total of three chances, one as regular student and two as reappear candidate.
For Part–I (Sem-I)

Postgraduate Courses
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidate has passed the Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a statutory University
For Part–I (Sem-I)
A Candidate has passed B.C.A. with 50% marks
OR
A Candidate has passed P.G.D.C.A. with 50% marks
OR
A Candidate has passed 3-year graduation degree with 50% marks with one of the following major elective subject in each year: Computer Sciences /Information Technology/Computer Application or any equivalent subject.
For Part–II
A Candidate has passed 50% of total papers of two semesters of the Ist year examination of this university or any other statutory University.
OR
A Candidate placed under ‘reappear’in any paper will be allowed two chances to clear the reappear, which should be availed with in consecutive two years/ chances that is to pass in a paper the candidate will have total of three chances, one as regular student and two as reappear candidate.
Eligibility Criteria :
A Candidate has passed Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application, but the candidate have to pass the deficient papers of M.Sc.-IT Part-I as prescribed in the syllabus.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidate who has passed graduation with Punjabi elective subject from a statutory University having obtained 50% marks.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidate who has passed B.Com. B.B.A., B.M.I.T. B.Com (Professional) and Bachelor of Accounting & Finance examinations with at least 50% marks.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidate who has passed graduation with Political Science subject from a statutory University having obtained 50% marks.
