About Hostel
The construction of 66 rooms of Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College hostel was constructed under the supervision of Baba Mitha Singh Ji in commemoration of Sant Atar Singh ji Maharaja Mastuana in 14th April 1999.
With the co-operation of Jathedar Sr.Avtar Singh ji-President S.G.P.C., 16 new hostel rooms were constructed that are fully equipped with all the modern requisites as R.O, Coolers, generator and geyser etc. There is a co-operative Mess for hostlers.
There is a lounge (common-room) equiped with a large screen television. Hostel building is classified among 6 blocks named-Mata Gujri ji, Mata Sundri Ji, Mata Sahib ji, Mata Bhago ji, Mata Jitto ji, Mata Khiwi ji. Guru Granth Sahib ji is also adorned in the hostel.
Annual committees such as Path committees, Mess committees, Medical committees, TV committees, Cleanliness committees, Market committees etc including a Head Girl and Block Supervisors are imparted several duties to maintain discipline at the hostel.
1. Telephone facility is also available for the parents to talk to their ward .
2. Anti ragging committee and squad is also set up to keep check on the students.
3. Parents can meet their wards every Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm.
